Low-poly Bastion was a fun experience.
We had a small group of 3 people who all had to make a 3D model from a trending topic, like overwatch or any upcoming hollywood movie, and make it PS2 optimazed model of it. We had a poly budget of only 1000 tris and the texture may only be 512px by 512px.
I chose Bastion at the time, because it was my favorite Overwatch character. I also took the time to rig it and animate it.
The bastion took about 4 weeks to make, all in between school exercises and projects.
